Usually skulky birds here on patch, except when they are singing, today one braved me crawling towards it on my knees. No sign of any flycatchers though, but that could be down to crawling on my knees too much. Plenty of Willow Warbler though frequenting the boggy bit of the SSSI. I have no idea what creature produced it - fox maybe, or dog - but look at those green bottles! The brambles just along the path from the wildlife garden have been filled with birds in the last couple of weeks and yesterday was no exception - blackcaps, garden warbler, blue and great tits, common and lesser whitethroat were all feed.
